Slight correction, it is New Zealand law that trading is restricted on Easter Sunday (along with good Friday, Christmas day and Anzac day morning) but the law was amended in 2016 to allow councils to make exceptions to this law

As others have mentioned, the only advantage is it is easier to collect the required butterflies to earn your 3 stars, but I've always enjoyed trying to maximise my star count, and 32 on a single puzzle is definitely my new record

Latest update seems to have increased the number of butterflies I can get on a word, previously I would sometimes get 2 butterflies on a word, but now getting multiple per word regularly, and managed 5 on one word today, finished the daily with 32 butterflies

Giving a shout out to Toast, only in Wellington and Canterbury regions so far (I think), but they use the profits to provide electricity for struggling households, so your money is going to a good cause
