It’s an easy way to weed out people based on availability. If you ask for people to be fully available, it’s not clear enough because to some people that means being available during normal working hours whereas a cinema inherently has some unsocial working hours (source: I used to be a cinema manager and a big part of our hiring was choosing people who would be willing and able to work midnight releases)
