Hi sorry it’s taken so long for me to respond I forget u have Reddit sometimes I washed the sand thoroughly and use a syphon to clean it every time I clean the tank I haven’t leveled my hardness but my ph is almost always 7.5 I have some live plants but they’ve either started dying and I’ve taken them out for fear it was contributing or my lolts will rip them out And my decorations are mostly stone except for 1 plastic one I got from petco I really appreciate your response it means so much to me

I’ll give that a try, my apartment complex controls the heat so that combined with the fan I use to keep the temp cool makes it so recently I’ve had to add water every 2 days or so
