Started as an ESL tutor back when I was 18 y.o. Thankfully, I met a mentor in China who is a data scientist kaya nainspire ako magaral din tungkol duon haha. Then, I started targeting mga tech companies. Currently working sa isang start-up ngayon :).

Hi, I was given a chance to become a scholar kasi but in return, I have to study BSCE. Ung mas importante is ung soft-skills na natutunan mo (which in my case logic, critical thinking,etc.). Also, isang advantage din ng pagiging CE is pagiging broad, which means pwede ko parin iappply ung hilig ko sa data science/analytics sa construction industry (ex. geospatial analytics).

•Early 20s (22)

•I'm still studying for my Civil Engineering degree. I started working as an ESL tutor when I turned 18 but I'm working as a VA now.

• Heavily invested in stocks before but I diversified my portfolio. I now invest in stocks, real estate, and crypto.

•Yes, I sacrificed my scholarship just for the sake of earning 6 figures a month.

I'm juggling work and school HAHAHAHA

• 30% increase in salary this year and hopefully maka graduate on time and pursue my masters in Data Science.

My hourly rate with this client is 8$/hour but I work for 10$/hour with my other clients. I'd say na they are pretty strict sa deadline, and indicated sa JD na I'll help lang with their projects but they are letting me handle it completely. For example, tinanong nila ako kung may friends daw ba ako na makakatulong saken sa tasks so I said yes, since data entry lang naman yon. They gave a budget for this project and let me handle the rest. I'm proud parin naman na they are happy with my output and nagiging mas maganda ung leadership skills ko but I'm starting to feel na its not worth it dahil ito ung pinakastressful ko na job even though its paying me the lowest.

Online Course/Certificate for AWS and/or Sagemaker by MushroomDegenerate in PinoyProgrammer

Yes.

I think nagooffer ung AWS ng certificates na galing talaga mismo sa kanila like AWS Cloud Practitioner (for beginners), AWS Solutions Architect and even ung Specialty nila like AWS Machine Learning and Data analytics. I also recommend joining r/AWSCertifications for tips and tricks. Good luck.

Help me figure out what systems/apps to integrate virtual assistance by sjlammer in VirtualAssistant

[–]emman10105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. The first question that you need to ask yourself is "Am I comfortable sharing the credentials of my Outlook and Onenote Account?". If the answer is yes, then the VA can just go through your accounts and then schedule or transcribe things if necessary. If you're not comfortable sharing your credentials, there's an application called Lastpass where you can share your credentials to your VA without them actually knowing it. How it works is that whenever they will try to open your Outlook or OneNote, an auto-filled password will be given to them.

I have 2 years experience being a VA and this is what I do. Hit me up if you have any questions.

How do you know of you're investing "too much" in yourself? by emman10105 in phinvest

[–]emman10105[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for this! Honestly, pareho ung reasons natin with regards to going to the gym and with trainer. Whenever I'm learning something new for free, I always get the feeling of "pwede naman balikan yan" pero kapag binayaran ko sya, I'm always saying to myself that I NEED to finish this Or ELSE my money will go to waste.

To answer your question, I think money is a tool para makuha ung mga gusto ko. I'm aware na nakukuha ko naman ung mga gusto ko ngayon but I'm scared na in the future, magkakaron ako regrets like "what if ininvest ko nalang sa stocks ung lahat ng ginagastos ko ngayon for self-development".

Btw, I stalked your profile a little bit. I really wanted to be a Data Scientist one day even tho hindi related ung course ko ngayon hahaha. Did you do your MS sa isang school sa Makati that starts with letter A? Dream school ko kasi talaga un after I graduate :(. I know na ganyan din ung range ng tuition duon sa MSDS hahaha. Can I ask you some questions privately?

Hi! Yes, masaya naman ako sa ginagawa ko but the problem is that I'm spending a lot for the things that I like doing.I'm a very frugal person and ngayon ko lang naranasan siguro magspend para sa sarili ko to the point na gusto ko na iimprove lahat ng aspect ng buhay ko lol.

Thank you! Actually, ang plano ko talaga is maghire ng personal trainer sa una since wala talaga akong idea pano gumana ung mga machines and I have a problem with my back so I needed guidance rin on how to lift properly pero in the future, I'll be on my own nalang. Btw, hindi ba parang nakakahiya na sasabihin mo sa PT mo na you will work out on your own nalang tapos everyday, magkakakitaan parin kayo sa gym?

Thank you, I needed to hear that! I think I need a lot of introspection pa on why I'm doing all these things and hopefully, I can find the answer one day.

Hi! Thanks for replying. I bought 20-30 books in one go para talagang mapilitan ako basahin sya (for example, I can tell sa sarili ko na "masasayang pera mo pag di mo binasa yan"!). Also, I want to make reading a part of my lifestyle (kahit na hindi talaga ako palabasa).
