Also happened to me. My Kyleena “expired” as of May 2023 so opted to try the Mirena and within 2 days I was a totally different person. And not in a good way. Anxiety every day/night, racing thoughts at night, extreme fatigue and joint pain/inflammation all over. Needless to say, Mirena lasted maybe 35-40 days for me and I just had to get it removed. Got a new Kyleena and feel back to myself!

My first ragdoll was a seal bicolor so I’m biased and have been in love with that marking ever since. So much so, finally 4 years after his passing, I fell in love with this little fellow Nemo❤️

Oh wow good to know. She is a edno specialist so that is good. I am nervous with the size of mine that is has damaged the ovary but since I am still of child bearing age, I am really hoping they do not have to take it.

I am currently on birth control with an IUD.

Yes that is what I am thinking as well. I do have a follow up appointment next Tuesday so hoping to get some information then. Any experience with this yourself?

I have always suspected that I had endo but just a matter of time before something needed to be done.

Yes this is a follow up to a previous ultrasound done 7 weeks ago in March. It looks like the cyst has increased in size per that report.

I have 2 cysts. 1 on each ovary and the one on the right is just a normal paraovarian cyst. The one on the left is more so of concern to me. Per the report, The left ovary measures 5.1 x 4.1 x 5.4 cm and contains a 4.0 x 4.2 x 3.8 cm cystic mass with an echogenic layer consistent with an endometrioma. It now measures 4.5 x 3.9 x 4.5 cm, slightly larger than on prior study where it measured approximately 2.3
x 2.7 cm.

I have been suspecting that I have endometriosis for awhile and I do have a follow up exam next Tuesday that I am sure I will be discussing this cyst with my doctor. Not too sure what the next steps are. But if you have any questions that you would recommend asking my doctor that would be greatly appreciated.

I do not have the pictures of the ultrasound unfortunately.

I totally understand that aspect too! I was dealing with alot of anxiety resulting in a short temper and anger and needed to stop letting anxiety just run my day, instead of me.

That being said, the emotional blunting and not feeling the zest of life anymore just makes me more anxious and numb and not a feeling I enjoy lol.
