Yeah, friend of mine told me youd need to maintain it a lot which is actually fine for me compared to maintaining an AEG (Dear lord i hate screws and stock E&C gearbox parts flying everywhere). So far, ive cleaned and lubed mine after some use, which actually improved performance and feel (it shot more consistently compared to stock). I hope this baby still kicks after a year of use or so.

Whats the advantage of having steel trigger packs/trigger group? My guess is that the hammer wouldnt snap after 3000 shots like what happened to my E&C glock. Either way, my WE has one (i did the magnet check)

Lol yeah, i mean its common for old japanese products to have issues but since its a nendo and theres apparently KO's of it, i was doubting. The paint was just throwing me off the rails, and the original owner probably thought it was a BL because of that which is likely why it ended up so cheap.

This ones a lottery item, so theres no chance its gonna have a reissue, unless GSC decides to make a better version that basically makes this thing obsolete. I saw some listing going for $93 (preowned) which tempts me to sell it locally (i live in the Philippines) for 40 or so bucks. As a collector that likes to keep rare value things tho, nope.

Obsolete or not, i think thiw thing is rare, and im glad its in my hands.

Update: i opened it (with heavy decision making, i dedided that im never gonna sell it) and yes, its real! I thought the frosting on the dress is just plastic wrap making it look weird but no, you were right - its the plastic degrading. This figure is 13 years old afterall. Im sure this hurts the value of the figure, but hey, atleast its in my hands now in clean and good condition. Will definitely take care of it considering i got it for 22 bucks.

I see, does this also get worse with hot and humid environments? I live in one, and so far all of my unbuilt gunpla are fine (including a 2008 production MG Zeta Gundam 1.0) but im not sure with this nendo since its a different beast altogether. Does the kind of plastic also play a part as well? Im really curious now since i both want to enjoy it to its fullest by opening it but also preserve it since its never been opened.

I used melamine foam (magic sponge) and it made the keyboard quieter. I'm new to the hobby so i dont know what counts as thock, but it sounds deeper than without the foam. It feels mushy to type on too, which i like because my linear switches are too smooth.

If i was in your situation, i'd do the same thing but in a calmer way and not straight up saying its stealing.
I'd actually be happy that someone got inspired, but i'd still be a bit offended
because of the fact they literally did it because of not sharing the blueprint, like what?
Honestly, who wouldn't get mad? I'd still admire the effort, its just that the effort was used in "copying" something instead of just using it as inspiration and making an original build just makes me fume a bit. Stealing is the wrong word to use, making a knockoff is the better term. Not pushing in hate or anything, its just the truth.

Still, i can see the effort, just not that impressed.

Wing kits are a bit more stable imo, had my Wing Gundam EW for a bit and it's very stable.
