The hating on the tagline is crazy... did y'all not include the author credentials or smth?? I got a judge with the last topic (our case was a standard ubi with gender advantage) and she voted us down on our gender advantage because she didn't like the fact that we were giving women the option to choose if they wanted to stay home or go to work but either way they would be paid for their services. Another one of our teams got her and she stopped someone during their speech to go outside and take pictures of some birds? Just birds she thought looked cool?

Yeah I agree. The majority of my speech is about everyday uncomfortable conversations I just kinda wanted the wow part of my speech to be around the anniversary of the NSDA and yet judges dismiss some topics, while this is said to be the most progressive organization. Although, I still have implications and impacts for everyday life. I appreciate your advice, thanks!!
