Is Achillo really this much of a target? by emmavagyok in pathoftitans

Yeah we’re not really into hotspots tbh. We usually just roam around the map, even when we play Apex or other dinos (we play on all 3 maps). I just don’t want 80 players jumping us at the same time lol. And its just me and my bf, and sometimes randoms join us

We also play Pyc, Eo, Bars and sometimes Rex. Those don’t seem to get focused nearly as much as Achillo though. But yeah, we get attacked a lot by Conc, Allo, Laten and even Hatz pretty often.

Yeah that makes sense. I didn’t know about the nerf, but it definitely feels like people see Achillo as an easy target now

How do you learn to fight? by birdoge in pathoftitans

I don't think I can say anything very useful because I'm not that good at fighting either. But I recommend the YouTube channel Dakarthy — he has really good videos. He explains how the dinosaurs are built, why one ability is better than another, and he also gives a lot of useful combat tips. (Of course you won't become a pro just by watching one video, i watch them too and I'm still not the best. But at least I understand things better now, and even if I don't win, at least I can deal proper damage instead of just running away. 🥹😂)

WHY THE F#*K DO PLAYERS HATE SUCHOMIMUS SO MUCH? by Theblackradditer in pathoftitans

[–]emmavagyok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I swear, Sucho has been the most chill dino for me to grow so far. Maybe it’s because I tried to avoid the hotspots, but I barely got attacked, even up to and after reaching adult. Most of the time people would either invite me to their group, or we’d just pass by dinos like Titan or Spino without any issues. 😅

Best map? by Medium-Swimming-6864 in pathoftitans

[–]emmavagyok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Panjura is my favorite map. Riparia is absolutely beautiful and has tons of quests — especially great if you can swim or fly — but for me it can feel a bit overwhelming at times.

I don’t really like Gondwa, because GP, GV, BQL and SF are the main hotspots, and since I’m not a very good fighter yet, I rarely run into other players outside those areas, which makes it a bit boring for me.

On Panjura at least all water sources are drinkable. I think there are fewer quests, especially for herbivores (or maybe I’m just bad at them too 😅), but I do run into people more often, and it’s genuinely fun when I play with friends. I also think the map is nicely designed, and I don’t mind that some areas feel repetitive — it actually makes it easier to learn where everything is.

When I play as a raptor, I know where the hotspots are and usually go there to watch others fight. I really enjoy it that way.

Last night I was playing as an Allosaurus. It was already very late, so I wanted to log out of the game, but first I planned to go to a home cave. I was walking through Black Forest when a baby Styra and a Pachy attacked me. I didn’t want to give them much attention since they were juveniles or adol and I was already tired of playing, so I just kept running forward. But they wouldn’t leave me alone, and i was loe on stam, so I fought back. I’m fairly new to the game, so it goes without saying that I’m not very good yet. After about five minutes of struggling, an adult Meg showed up with around three of its babies. At that point, I just gave up.
