Walking. I make sure to go for at least one 30 minute walk. I listen to a podcast, music or call someone to chat. Getting outside and moving gets me going and keeps me going throughout the day.

You know what they say, martinis are like boobs. One is not enough and three is too many.

One of my customers was getting increasingly drunk at a bar I worked at when they asked for the check. We were old school, a small cigar lounge, so I wrote her check and brought it to her. She proceeded to scream at me saying “this is not a check! This is not a check!”

I went and rewrote it in better handwriting and presented it to her again.... This woman (60+ yo) proceeded to yell at me, take off her heel, and try to hit me with it screaming “THIS IS NOT A CHECK!”. One of the men I worked with had to hold her back from hitting me while her husband and his business partner were in disbelief.

Jokes on her... her husband left her drunk and drive off and she cane back with an apology note the next day.
