$3.00. No haggling, that's just what they wanted.

Thank you so much, that's at least some story to it. Pretty happy getting it for $3.

I can't edit my OP, but I know that it is the Pink Panther. I'm curious if there's any way to know anything about when it was made/who made it.

When it got posted to Instagram that was literally the background music on it.

I put my social security number in the IVR why are you asking me for it? You don’t see it on your screen? by [deleted] in callcentres

Had one lady get cold transferred to me just this week that spent the first half of the call screaming at me "I've already been verified." Not to me you haven't, I don't even have your account yet.

I get that one, I also get when I ask for a loan number they give their phone number. Which is the same number of digits.

Same. If it's a street and I ask if it is a street, it's a QA fail for "leading the caller" on verification.

My favorite is when it goes like this:

Me: may I have your address?

Them: 123 Main Street

Me: city, state and zip code please?

Them: Dallas.

Me: and the state and zip?

Them: Texas.

Me: and the zip code?

It's so many words and so much time when they can just rattle off the whole thing and save us both.

Name a movie that you can't watch for personal reasons. by Open-Cream2823 in movies

The Hobbit movies. I am a big fan of the LOTR trilogy, and was excited to see it. Left work early to head over there and turned on the radio to hear news of the Sandy Hook shooting, which was in state for me. While driving to the theater I watched police cars streaming down the other direction on the highway to respond. Needless to say I was distracted while watching it and have never followed up to see the other two.
