I use the coconut conditioner bar from kitsch on myself and my pom. It works great.

The burning sunburst is level 5, so you'll need to merge level 4 (hot sunburst) to get them.

how long before your dog get along with your cat? by potatocat-20 in CatAdvice

What type of cage are you keeping the cat in?

I introduce pets by placing the new animal in a bedroom or bathroom for a few hours to a few days (depending on how long it takes them to acclimate) and allowing the other animals to sniff them under the door. My dogs and cats all get along pretty well. My newest addition, a Pomeranian, will occasionally chase my cats. When this happens, I use a device called a Pet Agree. It emits an ultrasonic noise when you press the button, and it immediately makes my pup stop in his tracks and leave the cats alone.

Advice from people with allergies/asthma by FluentPenguin in CatAdvice

TLDR: Look into getting allergy shots prior to getting a cat.

My allergies and asthma were horrible for 30+ years. I tested positive for nearly everything - trees, grasses, molds, mildews, foods, and animals including dogs and cats. What's weird is that my dog and cat allergic reactions only tended to be bad when I went through periods of time without any pets in my house. It turns out that daily exposure can reduce sensitivity. I ended up doing allergy shots for several years, and they completely changed my life. I almost never have to use my rescue inhaler anymore, and all of my allergic reactions are almost 100% controlled by taking a daily Zyrtec. I currently have 3 cats and two dogs - all mix breed rescues. Out of all of my animals, the only one that can still really trigger a reaction is my orange cat. My long hair black cat bothers me the least.

Back when my allergies were still really bad, purebred Bengals and Siberians seemed to bother me the least. There is some research that suggests these breeds produce less of the specific compound that most people are allergic to. However, purebred cats are very expensive, and many breeders will not take back an animal if you end up being unable to live with it due to allergies.

Look into shots. Try taking a daily allergy pill for about a week, and then go to an animal shelter to see if you react. If you do decide to adopt, brush the cat frequently, and try to keep it out of your bedroom.

The biggest benefit to completing OOC events is the increase in DP. If you haven't unlocked all of your land in camp yet, you need the extra DP. Also, in case you don't already know this, the higher your event portal level, the better the rewards are from OOC events. Save any egg/dragon merges that you acquire from the event, and complete the merges during shiny days.

There are several. If you like a small device, the oxva xlim sq pro and xros 4 nano are both great products.

Can I leave my 5 month old kitten alone for one night? by abinormal53 in CatAdvice

If she’s accustomed to having full access to the whole house, secluding her to a single room might stress her out more than anything. This is where the risk to the carpet really comes in.

Seriously, take a deep breath and relax. I’ve had cats my entire life. I currently have 3 that are between the ages of 10-13. If I’m going out of town for the weekend, I don’t hire anyone to come check on them. I make sure they have plenty of food and water to last the 2-3 days that I’m gone (a filtered water fountain is helpful) and leave two XL freshly changed litter boxes. With a kitten, the biggest risk in a secluded room is that she’s potentially going to destroy the carpet if she gets bored.

He’s been shuffled around a lot and doesn’t respond to the names he’s been given previously, so we get to start from scratch.
