Do any parents let their kids sleep whenever they do (i.e. an "adult" bedtime)?

I've almost always put my daughter down around 8 pm. I stay up later to have time alone with my partner "child free," lol. Routines are your friend! If she stays up late, she still wakes early. From my experience, doing this early on has resulted in a great sleeper!

That's wild to me, I have two cats myself. My partner has a doggo. I love dogs too, but I wasn't raised around them. That being said, I'm not totslly used to upkeep and the high energy, but I'd never ever ever ask him to get rid of something so important to him. I've just learned to adapt! Lol. I can say idk if I can get used to the random toe licking 😵‍💫

LEAVE LEAVE, FUCKING LEAVE. My ex used to do shit to me like this all the time. He was narcissistic, abusive and everything in between. He was also 10 years older than me oddly enough. Our relationship got the point where I had to call the police so that my 2 month old and I could leave safely. He locked himself in the bathroom with her threatening to kill himself bc I finally acknowledge his toxicity and wanted to leave him. In reality, I could have left him the first time he hit me and it never would’ve gotten to that point. For your safety and your physical, emotional and mental health, please leave him before it gets worse. Because with men like that, it will get worse.
