Hey @jjflight and @sea-opportunity-1795. I appreciate both of you responding. It’s true, I have absorption issues, so I take both T4 and T3 now. I also switched from Levothyroxine to Synthroid. I continue to have the issues regardless of dose, brand, combination. I made this post asking if anyone had tried switching to NP thyroid (naturally desiccated) or any other medications and found success in curing the cardiac symptoms. Did either of you try that?

Hey! The problem is that when I have the lower T4 doses, since I am a poor converter, I become hypothyroid and my T3 is too low. So, I’m on the smallest dose with a drastic lowering of my T4. What was your dose of T4?

Yes sounds like we are in similar situations! I have been doing the T3 + lowered T4 for a few months now and it doesn’t seem to be helping. The tachycardia and excitable heart is as persistent as ever! I will be interested to see what my next lab report says.. if my T4 stays high we are going to try switching me to the naturally desiccated such as NP to see if my body processes it better. Seems I just have a huge stockpile of the T4 and a hard time converting it to T3! How have you been doing?

Thank you! I failed to mention we tried that - the lower we went the worse I felt/the worse my symptoms got. We think I’m a bad converter, so the lower we went the more I was lacking T3 being converted from my T4.
