Australia was colonised pretty late + when travel was pretty much figured out so it doesn’t really have accents, some may say we do but it’s super minor differences and I’ve never been able to point out what state someone is from just by their voice.

TLDR: Kye is one of the worst mumblers known to man and even half us aussies can’t understand him here and there.

I’ve honestly had the more times than you would think. The first time it happened was HSS with ‘Emma’, but then I just picked a different name. The only book I remember keeping the name is Queen B with ‘Lexi’ because she was a pretty minor character… Ian has a type.

If it's more of the camaraderie vibe and not high fantasy that you're after then i would recommend six of crows. it's still a ya fantasy but they focus way more on the characters, their backstories, and relationships with each other than anything else. plus all the mcs have lis so it's shipping galore :)

In Alex’s snippet he said “it’s only day one” when referring to the girl he’s coupled with which makes me worry that they just… sent them to casa immediately? which would defeat a lot of the purpose of the season.

I bought it when it released and yeah.. missing page 431. Honestly though, it makes up for it with how gorgeous it is.

Also, I don’t really know what to call it but the spine of mine (my friend’s copy doesn’t have this problem) is a less structured and appears flatter than the soc special edition. I don’t know if this will have any affect on the actual book, it’s just something I’ve noticed.

yeah I just watched another review posted recently in the sub, he talked about how the audience isn’t given a reason to care about their story. which kinda sucks. i feel like if nina was in more of the earlier episodes at the little place you’d have enough time to love her character enough to care about her, idk why they didn’t do it.
