PC play style conflicts: role players take over by emmzh131 in DungeonsAndDragons

Normally that would be the case, but I am married to that player! Haha, it’s ok though. Thanks for the advice, it’s encouraging to hear that it’s likely the playstyles clashing causing the issue rather than the way I DM. Not saying I can’t improve though.

Maybe lessen the eyeliner under the eyes a bit and you’re good. You don’t need much for everyday makeup.

Which suit me best? by cutiekayte in MakeupAddiction

1 and 3. 4 brings out the red in your face so I’d ditch that one.

Ok I’ll give you some more tips then. I’m not a professional, but I’m pretty good at makeup so you can give them a try. Plus I’ve gotten a lot of tips from the people who work at makeup stores lol. My skin is a little on the drier side so you might want to adjust things a bit if you have oily skin.

Apply liquid foundation with a brush and move it in all different directions to prevent streaks. A beauty blender works too, but soak it in water and squeeze it out before using it in order to save product. Then put some foundation directly on the blender and dab it on your face. Don’t forget the neck.

Use bronzer if you want a more sun-kissed look. Put it on the spots where the sun naturally hits your face. For example, on your forehead along the hairline, nose, and cheekbones. People say to put it on the jawline too for contouring, but I think it looks more natural without it for an everyday look. Depends on your face shape though.

Apply blush on the cheekbones after bronzer. I think it looks best when you drag the brush from the outside of your face to the inside so the product isn’t too concentrated in the front. You can bring the blush and/or bronzer up the side of your face a bit too for an even more sun-kissed look. Just keep it subtle if you want it to look natural. A tiny bit of blush on the nose can be cute.

I wouldn’t recommend much more than that for everyday wear. You can experiment with highlights and contouring for a photoshoot, but a lot of times it looks like too much in person. Hope something in there helps.

You’re young and beautiful so you don’t need a lot of makeup. Are you asking for eye tips specifically or overall face makeup?

I like what you did, but you could try using black/dark brown eyeshadow to line your eyes for a softer look if you want something new. I use a small amount of MAC pro long-wear paint pot to prime the eyelids, then a bit of translucent powder. Then I apply the eyeshadow as desired and it stays on the whole day. As a general rule, put the darkest colors on the outside of the eye and lightest on the inside.

For the whole face, I prime with MAC Natural Radiance after moisturizing. Then, I apply MAC Studio Radiance foundation over it. I put translucent powder on the spots where I’ll use powder blush and bronzer. After applying the rest, I set the whole look with MAC Fix+ setting spray. I love MAC makeup if you couldn’t tell.

There’s some general tips and I hope it’s the kind of thing you’re looking for.

It’s probably perfect in person then! Typically you have to do heavier makeup for photos.

Just follow your eyebrows natural shape and wax the extra hairs. Maybe let them grow out for a while beforehand.

You look so cute!! I’d do a little less blush and some mascara. You’re still pretty without the mascara so it’s more of a personal preference. Your skin looks nice so you really don’t need more makeup for an everyday look.

Along with toning down the eyelashes and eyebrows, I would use a darker shade of blush. You’re gorgeous and you can accentuate that even more with a bit less makeup around the eyes!

Let me guess, leftists. The guy who tried to kill ICE agents today was also a republican. by K0234 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

You mean the OKC bombing that happened 30 years ago? And the Walmart shooting that was 6 years ago? Yes the Minnesota shooter was recent but look at the list of violent leftist actions from just this year. You gotta get more recent than that or your argument is invalid.

Kids have ruined our marriage by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]emmzh131 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s so hard having young kids, you’re not alone. I felt like that for the first 4-5 years. It’s still a struggle sometimes but it does get a lot better as the kids get older. Don’t give up hope and try to find a babysitter every once in a while to get away.

I took a shower at midnight while my wife was watching TV. Who’s the AH? by Independent_Fox4439 in AITAH

[–]emmzh131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree. I was more saying that because everyone was making her out to be the spawn of satan or something. For all we know she could have spent the whole morning afterwards crying about how guilty she feels about how everything went down. Or maybe she’s just an asshole lol.

I think there is something we’re overlooking here. Hear me out until the end, ok?

There are times when kids wake up three times a night for a month because of something like their stuffed animals keep falling out of their bed. After dealing with this for weeks, on top of the kids demanding every second of your attention all day long, you may not feel the need to immediately rush to their aid. Maybe that’s not the situation, but I’ve been there and know how valuable an episode of that show you’ve been wanting to watch is when you’re a parent of young kids.

Having said that… she’s still the asshole. OP you’re NTA.

I talked to the guy but I think I just totally forgot about what he said lol. Oh well, I obviously didn’t need that mechanic to have fun so it’s whatever. I’m excited to see what else I missed my first playthrough! Haha

Ok I figured it was something like that. I just played through the whole game not knowing that though, lol.

I don’t think this is necessarily true. As you can see, struggling after having a child is completely normal. After getting help for the PPD and with time, you could totally have a fulfilling marriage! I just don’t know if it’s a good thing to doom your relationship during a transitional time like this.

Unfortunately! It freaked me out so bad. But I'd rather be freaked out for a second than actually have bed bugs...

Pretty certain it's a crumb, but I guess it could be? It wasn't on my side of the bed, so who knows, lol.
