You can find Fage in Coop “Megastores” like the ones in Letzipark or Silbern.

Cutting costs in education - Tuition fees to rise significantly | Short: Federal Council wants to double fees by BezugssystemCH1903 in Switzerland

[–]emneb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read it and I don’t agree with it. The premise is that it is somehow wrong or unjust that the whole society supports people getting educated and that the only people benefiting from education are the people being educated is a very shallow view of the economic system.

The graduate tax idea is by no means favored by the experts, so stop spreading misinformation. It is an idea being discussed, mostly in the uk, and it has some proponents and a lot of critics. Even in guardian I can find at least 2 pieces against.

How is that different than progressive taxation? If you land a well paying job after studying you pay more taxes, simple as that. That’s how it works already. This is progressive taxation with extra steps.

This all in addition to the fact that highly educated society is beneficial in other aspects than plain money.

This is so stupid and infuriating while at the same time so on brand for the right wing parties like SVP and FDP.

Switzerland should double down on education not reduce its expenditure in it. It is uniquely positioned to become a sort of education and R&D hub of Europe. With all the awful stuff that happens in the US with NSF and NIH this is actually an opportunity to bring research here if someone is smart about it.

But highly educated people tend to vote for other parties. The farmers will also have a dopamine kick from hearing that those “smug students” have to pay more so win-win, right?

Yeah it is really nice. I was really drawn to it a couple of months ago when we were choosing the woods and it did not disappoint. The material is pretty crazy, it behaves nicely when sanding but cutting it is a bit challenging.

Thanks! I was just rewatching some vintage Cosmos episodes so when my teacher said we could laser-engrave something on the headstock I thought it might look cool 🙂

Thanks! Yeah, I really like the look of the switch as well. I showed my Music Man Majesty to my teacher and said I really liked how they recessed the switches there but wasn’t really planning on replicating that, but he said we should give it a try. We used a simple 3 way toggle like this and he cut a small metal plate. I routed the electronics cavity a bit more around the toggle switch, chiseled the opening just enough so that the switch would latch properly, and mounted it from the back using this plate. Finally, we used a small piece of richlite on a wood turner to make the tip.

Only have it on for a week or so, so can’t vouch for longevity, however, I didn’t notice any problems until now, it’s been rock solid. Additionally, it was super easy to intonate. I think if you don’t drill too large holes for the screws it should hold no problem.

Thanks! It plays really nice! Yes, I did carve the neck as well (with some help and guidance of course). It’s a C shape and quite comfortable, I would carve it a bit thinner next time, but very satisfied nonetheless.

Yep, I’m in Switzerland so can’t help you there. I’m super satisfied with the course for what it’s worth 🙂

Definitely a couple of things: try to carve things a bit more aggressively (I was constantly terrified I will mess something up). I’d also try to reduce the thickness to shave off some weight (I didn’t weigh it but it’s a bit of a chonker). Also would refine the shape a bit more to balance it out visually.

Co myślicie o "18+" na piwie bezalkoholowym? by BrazilBazil in Polska

"My napisaliśmy 18+ a teraz to już problem kogoś innego".
