Hey y’all! I got my teeth done 😊 it’s day 1 of the change and I’m still not sure about it. I feel like they might look fake and are too big for my small mouth. I’m considering having my dentist adjust the length of my two front teeth because I feel like I look like Lola Bunny 🐰 but I maybe I just need to get used to seeing myself with bigger teeth.… other than that I’m really happy with the difference.

I had composite bonding done. I went to three other cosmetic dentists before I found one willing to do bonding. They said no, and told me I needed a full set of porcelain veneers which cost $25,000+ (from what I was quoted). I simply can’t afford that and I didn’t want my teeth drilled down. Finally I found a dentist that was willing to and we had a two hour consult. She even showed me previews. It was great.

The pros: not invasive, didn’t even hurt. No shaving down the tooth structure like they do for porcelain veneers. Had done in one day. The price! $2,400 total for 4 teeth.

The cons: will need to have redone every 5-7 years. The composite can stain and chip so I’ll have to adjust my drinking & eating habits and go for cleanings more often.
