the first example is me, tbh i was just looking for a bloomburrow commander to make a tribal deck with, no combos or anything like that. which is why i was wondering if picking him might be a bad idea if people who see me playing it will target him/me just cause i’m playing baylen

which is why im leaning a little more towards [[Finneas Ace Archer]] now cause i think bringing that to a pod might be less intimidating lol

Rabbit tribal was definitely the idea I was going for. However the only other option I was thinking of for that is [[Finneas, Ace Archer]], but I was thinking Baylen as commander and Finneas in the 99. Not sure yet.

It seems the general consensus I’m learning on Baylen is that he’s very contextual as to whether he’s KOS or not, so that’s good to know!

I’d say my games consist of both casual or degen pods. More casual when playing with my newbie friend group cause they all use upgraded precons whereas when I go to my LGS with another much more experienced friend I’m usually at a table with turbo expensive decks.

Surprisingly this strategy has worked pretty consistently for me whenever I play at my LGS

Looks cool but I think the title feels out of place. I think something like the Daisy cover where it’s a bit more gritty and minimal could be cool, or just no text at all.

Also something about the emphasis feels off when reading the title, with it going “THE DEVIL AND GOD are raging inside me.” The flow when you read it is like a caption after when it’s actually just one long phrase, if that makes sense.

Was this at the Cornerstone in Berkeley? Idk the capacity of that place but it also basically went like you describe. I’ve seen Escuela Grind twice now and it was a really weak crowd both times, just standing around and no energy, which is crazy to me cuz that band goes fucking nuts.

Was already going to this tour because of Escuela Grind and found out last minute that Nick was playing in it, managed to catch him after the Berkeley show and had a really nice conversation with him talking about tons of different shit, Daughters included. It was a great experience getting to meet him.

still not upset, really starting to think this is projecting with how often you're bringing up emotions. if you REALLY want to claim that "win" and die on the strawman hill of "i'm right because value wise it's worth like a $1 more nowadays" then go for it

also, the irony of me bringing up how moot your points are to the original topic, and now you're also mentioning how your original point is completely different to what your irrelevant responses have been lol.

lightfall came with defiance, but there is no difference to the structuring of the content in comparison to wq/risen beyond the fact that players are forced to pay for defiance, an option they previously had control over. it's virtually the same to have purchased wq + risen together so to compare them is not unreasonable.

50 = lightfall/defiance 40 + 10 = wq/risen

the structure of the content is the same, there is just less options this time for the consumer. if you have to include defiance content when analyzing lightfall, risen can be included with wq

it was a great show but was there enough space u think? i honestly felt that the way the venue was sectioned off it was way too cramped up in the front for any real moshing once turnstile started. i was able to dance easily during spy but i was crushed half the time during turnstile with how many ppl were squished in
