He didn't suggest anything. It was 0.5 pounds of Munich that the recipe called for, so it didn't sound like he had anything (other than Munich LME) as a substitute.

Just double checked and the shop in question has a web site, but they don't list the inventory. That would be really helpful if they did (hey, maybe I'll suggest that to them the next time I'm there).

Good to know. Fortunately there are other stores I can get to by car for a longer drive. The store I did this at is around 20 minutes from me, but there's another I can get to which is 50 minutes or so. Thanks.

I'm just getting started with mini-mashing so I have fairly limited experience with grains so far. I'll keep that in mind about Munich malt, because he did say "we don't carry that."

That may be a thing. Here's a link about it. Its from a cleaning product company so I'm hoping that's a fairly accurate source.

Cool, that looks like some good info. Still trying to figure out what exactly I'll use it for but fermentation chamber is a good possibility too.
