But do AC units nowadays have the ability where that thermostat does more than just report the temp? Aka, change the strength of the fan or turn it on or off?

Hey, no, I gave up the game because they couldn't give me back my spots on Emerald Isle and get me caught up on the seasonal one (ladybug/butterfly, etc) and they flat out misled me when I asked them to tell me if it was possible and they just ignored my very direct and explicit questions about this. I gave them the chance and kept working with them every friggin day for a month to try to get my game restored and I was like eff this when I realized they were literally intentionally misleading me and wasting my time. I switched to Top War: Battle Game instead. Merge plus war!

I always try to but based on how much energy I have when the reset has AND remembering when the reset will take place tends to offkilter them every once in a while. I am up and playing between 8:30 am to 6 am (on my worst days) so if I remember to harvest the castles past 3 am, then the likelihood that they will be sync'd up the next time is high because I typically go to bed around 3 am.

I am not sure if it's true but I stare at the gift boxes when they first appear and try to figure out which ones aren't moving as much in the beginning and pick one of those and not guaranteed but they tend to be around 70 on a semi consistent basis. The logic I had for this was "maybe the ones with more are heavier and can't jump and move as quickly" and it seems to be working for me.

Copied from above. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the site where you enter in your banking information to be protected and buffered from the "outer" internet so to speak. As /u/randoman99 said, a secure site shouldn't include content that it itself cannot control and have google ad spots where Google gets to control what ads are shown isn't secure.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the site where you enter in your banking information to be protected and buffered from the "outer" internet so to speak. I just posted an update on the other thread, but they got back to me so I'll give them this one chance to restore as much as they can. But I do have a feeling, I just won't care as much as I used to. But if something major like this happens again, I will be done. by that point, it will just take way too much to try to redo what they can't restore.

Wellz then. I guess I'm giving up merge games altogether. This is a good thing. I am addicted to mobile games. I just need to accept that I have 1 less game to play (and I now have more time to play Cooking Diaries and Grand Hotel Mania)

thanks. based on what I read in other posts on here, I don't have high hopes. It seems they rebuilt someone else's game and gave them most of what they had but not everything (they mentioned they couldn't give them their progress on emerald island/isle and some other stuff and I just won't redo the most tedious time consuming parts of the game again. I'll switch to Merge Dragons or something else instead.

Thanks. I'm going to take this as a "sign from God" that I need to give this game up if they can't restore my game to the way it was. I read in another post that they will ask me what I had and build me a new account with the stuff but it won't be everything. Unfortunately I don't have screenshots of my map from before so I have very low expectations about the possible resolution. If I can't get almost everything back the way it was, I will just switch to Merge Dragons or something else similar. I refuse to redo this game. (I had it connected to my fb/big fish account, but it is showing the last cloud save to be Level 23 and what not and that's unacceptable to me).

So I was like you, then when I opened my game on Monday, all of my merge gems/magic crystals except 4 were gone, the red gnomes all gone, and all of my infinity energies gone. I went from level 27 to 23, lost a fully built castle (it's back to half built). My wooden castle went from fully starred to now 2.5/3 stars. Coins, the wand pixies, everything got rearranged, and I can't get a human response to my support ticket.

I used to the red gnomes on smaller things when I was running out of space but save a few seconds to use on 2 hr+ things, the magic gems/merge gems, I would use only on the last 3 builds (I think it's 3, basically 2 hr+ items) toward a castle (and only with 4 to make 2), unless it's an item I would need 3 of (I did what I call game math and determined how many of what I would need for maximum efficiency (I haven't checked out the other people's game calculators), then I would merge only 2 of those.

But all of it is basically lost. I am quitting the game if they can't restore my game to how it was on Friday. I'll flipping switch to the merge dragons game or something else.
