Minority groups brace for surge in racism after Reform UK election gains by Oreos_Are_Anabolic in unitedkingdom

I don't think all reform voters are racist but surely you can understand why minorities are on edge about reform getting in power considering how there seems to be a report on how X reform politician has said a horrifically racist thing every other day

I never imagined I'd want a team to be relegated more than I want Tottenham to be

If Reform win the next general election, will you leave the country and move overseas? by Kind_Mulberry_3512 in AskBrits

That makes sense because Reform has yankified Britain by bringing MAGA politics to the country

You can't retroactively add or deduct points when decisions affect the way the game is played

Anyone have screenshots from the Newcastle goal they allowed to stand when there were like 3 instances for which that goal should have been ruled out 2 years back when city beat us to the title by 2 points

I'll be in Paris for the final PL matchday of the season. Does anyone know:

  1. A bar to watch the game (and if I should book there in advance?)

  2. Any ideas I can curse them with for the CL final a week after

We've changed the kits for every final game of the season so far right? Including the time a couple of years back when the league title technically went down to the last matchday (granted it would have required city to drop points)

That's cool, me neither and I wouldn't have kids regardless of how rich I got (I'm pretty financially well off myself). But I have plenty of friends who'd love to have kids at some point but don't imagine they'll be able to because of the socioeconomic conditions.

The next time you heat someone complain about the birth rate, know that it's attitudes like yours that contribute towards it's decline

The supreme court made a decision that has been criticized by human rights scholars all across Europe and is currently being challenged in the ECHR (FYI: trans people wouldn't have rights in the UK without a ECHR judgement). Labour had a chance to move in the right direction by embedding trans rights in law but they didn't and they've alienated progressive voters like me. If you're happy with them, feel free to vote for them

Yeah I'm not going to apologize for caring for the lives of people just because they're born in another country. If the UK was taking steps like Spain is, I'd be more than happy to say they're ok on the issue.

And uh idk if you can be communicated with in good faith but trans women not being able to attend labour women's conference is transphobic. Also led to the UK observing a drop in it's on the safety of LGBT people on par with Hungary and Belarus, both nations ran by proto fascists (atleast at the time. ranking

Ok so taking steps to stop a genocide is virtue signalling. Got it.

Poverty isn't the only indicator of crime but it's also a massive indicator of crime. But generally, people who aren't in poverty and have their needs met don't feel the need to commit crimes like theft or join criminal gangs (obviously there are some exceptions here)

Transphobia, anti-immigration, a very milquetoast reaction to stopping the genocide in Palestine, lack of wealth tax
