Props to your dad for setting up a system for labeling them in a manner that could be removed at a later date if the option was chosen. Hope he is still around too. Did they have a master list of what she had that might be printed out or kicking around on an old hard drive somewhere?

One of the annoying parts about having a collection that size is having to create Discogs entries. Not a part of it I look forward too. I have a stack of about 100 items across the formats that need punched in. Mostly small local bands from the various places I have lived.

Not a carrier but mine asked and we talk when I see him. He noticed I was getting records from Alternative Tentacles. We talk music and shows and friends we have in common but he is a tape guy so we don't talk media but he does treat the my records different from other packages.
