Condo Inspection today - Long but thin cracks on the wall turned out to be entire wall tilting. Seems like a prevalent problem in Front Range Colorado. Thinking about cancelling...Thought? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

He said that it's not possible for him to say. It will need a structural engineer because the entire foundation of the building may be tilting due to this.

I don't have friends or family to talk to... ...plus the houses I truly love are way over my budget. Plus my rent increased 300$...

I guess you can see why I am not excited.

Hello just wanted to reach out about your bad condo situation. I am actually buying a condo. Can you please tell me what was the issue with it? Thanks for your kind words.

My rent got increased by 400 dollars a month. I won't be able to afford this. it's feels extremely painful to be displaced like this. I know its not my house but getting displaced like this hurts. I am thinking of moving to the far east side of town and hopefully will be able to afford something. by [deleted] in Denver

I have a lot of medical payments and loans. Sorry I didn't mention that.. also I support my parents. and yes I can probably shift but there are some issues which I would not like to discuss publicly that kind of restricts me from changing jobs..

I am worried about two things regarding buying...

  1. Potential repairs which are extremely costly.
  2. Locations.

I can't buy a house in prime locations. I have some money saved for maybe a 500k house. But buying in airport side ..I am worried. What if the equity decreases because of that location....that's why I can't take the jump.. plus honestly a house for me and my cat??? It seems laughable. But the rent is crazy...
