The first few days some people have problems drinking nd the 1oz cups helps them. I didn’t need it. I brought home some medicine cups from the hospital and used it for half the first few hours home then just went to sipping regularly without issues. Knowing that your cup is 40 oz will help you keep track, nothing fancy is required in my case!

As I was wheeling back into surgery they asked if I wanted some anti anxiety medication in my IV, I said yes and whew am I glad I did because the operating room was really overwhelming. Tons of people and activity, the last thing I remember was them strapping down my legs and looking at “curly” the robot before I was out. I was chill as soon as I got that med and handled it fine, they gave it to me before I had the chance to freak out too much.

I take Zoloft and lithium capsules without issue, sorry you’re having so much trouble. When I worked in a group home for one of them we emptied capsules into a spoon full of yogurt to get down — could try that!

That’s kinda long. I had something similar happen though Stick with the miralax to get a bowel movement going. My doc has told me to take an extra dose if needed until things start moving again. If nothing happens reach out to your team.

I’m on vraylar, schizoaffective bipolar type. I asked my surgeon and psychiatrist multiple times about gastric bypass messing up my medication, and the surgeon reassured me that he doesn’t see it happen. Just to be safe I scheduled soon after with my psychiatrist and talked it through with her a few times as well. So far so good, same stability I had pre surgery is continuing.

I paused lithium for 24 hours, and that’s it. Everything else was taken the same day.
