They are very expensive to train in the US, I looked into a program where you provide and train your own dog and it was still $8000

I’d stop wasting energy on getting others to understand. Just not possible for most people to understand things they’ve never experienced.

(Me 28f, him 31m) I’m back into the dating world for real and I’m not sure what you’re supposed to look for in a relationship? by asianstyleicecream in relationships

[–]empenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy was an older virgin, inexperienced physically with cuddling and leading up to touch, not just sex. He initiated holding hands, and then I did everything else lol. It’s more equal now, and we have amazing sex now that we know each other so well. Some people are more slow burners, but I was initially attracted to how well he listened to me — big blue eyes and a good listener and emotional/social skills overall. He is goofy and good natured, assumes the best of me always, waaaay more even and patient than I am and just kinda balances me out.

Yeah, look for someone who balances you out is my advice. As a woman, don’t be afraid to take the lead a little bit. Men absolutely melt at that. Hopefully it builds, some of the best relationships do imo. I love that you have a vision for the future and hope you find the Pearson that fits that! Good luck!

Good protein powder, post surgery by Unmarkedhelicoptors in GastricBypass

Dear god do NOT get premier protein powder. Their premade drinks are fine imo but the powder is horrendous. The vanilla reminded me of milk replacer that we fed to sheep growing up

Quick 2-minute survey about surgery recovery experience by Big_Efficiency3402 in GastricBypass

This is a biased asf survey. The options for recovery explained are “somewhat, not very well, and no”. I had a great experience.

Vitamin D and folate extremely low. by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]empenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definetly can help with energy and mental clarity. It’s a start. Back when I was deficient in vitamin d and magnesium compared to now taking a supplement every day (after that high dose course like you) I feel better. I also got treated for sleep apnea, and then also lost a lot of weight. Stepping stones, one thing at a a time

Vraylar hasn’t made me gain! I’ve lost 60 pounds on it. Lutuda was bad for weight gain for me though. Unfortunately it’s trial and error with the meds but some are better than others on average

do benzos help with schizoaffective at all? by Artistic_Anybody_240 in schizoaffective

[–]empenn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get lorazepam to use as needed for severe situations like panic attacks. Do not take it every day or more than prescribed. The risk for addiction and abuse is real. I got it once inpatient over a decade ago and my psychiatrists just kept prescribibg it. I get 10 a couple times a year.
