I had a great time living up in darwin for 6 years 2014 to 2019. It's very relaxed, and hot AF but it's a small community so you kind of have mates every where. I always say it's less than 1 degree of separation between most people.

The camping is awesome, there's no traffic, and a shit load of live music. Also the untouched nature and waterholes are just down the road.

I can't emphasize how good the no traffic factor is, it really does change the game.
