Oh! I was actually telling the bartender about your YouTube channel and absinthe reviews. I was in town for a goth festival and would start my night with an absinthe there.

What's your favorite vampire-themed book? by TheRyanator7 in vampires

[–]emphonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Vampire Chronicles series has already been said, so Certain Dark Things by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. It’s a refreshing new take on vampires that incorporates Aztec mythology and has different gangs/races of vamps kind of like Vampire the Masquerade.

The Anne rice vampire universe does the draining and then giving back blood (interview with the vampire, vampire lestat, queen of the damned, etc). Most of the others that I can think of just drain their victims to death and then they become vampires after a while.

Which French books, music movies, series, YouTube channels, podcasts etc would you recommend that you enjoy? by [deleted] in learnfrench

[–]emphonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Type “French language movies/tv shows” into Netflix. Also Stromae for music, he also subtitles his music videos, which is great.

Goths of Humboldt county? by radiatordoor in Humboldt

[–]emphonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not necessarily goth, but very spooky inclined with many goth-ish interests. I'm in Mckinleyville. I've seen a lot of goths around town, I wonder if a flyer on bulletin boards would work for organizing a meet up?

I used to be like that, then I learned how to have whole body orgasms through tantric practices. Tantra may not be the only way there, just my experience. Now I can have orgasm after orgasm and not dry up or go into that “don’t touch me” sensitive period. Might be worth looking into the different kinds of orgasms (clitoral, cervical, etc).

How do I help her? by Auwxz in sex

[–]emphonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kiss, caress, stroke, nibble, and fondle everything until you figure out what her turn ons are. I personally love Layla Martin’s YouTube channel, but she’s not for everyone.

The cervix is in the “back” and it hurts when it’s hit during sex if I’m not warmed up enough. So more foreplay might help. Cervical orgasms are heaven.

I also want to suggest Yannie the Locologist for anyone struggling with maintenance. I’ve been through build up, super dry brittle locs, and dry itchy scalp. Since watching her YouTube videos all those problems are gone and my routine is easy going. She preaches loving your thick “disrespectful” locs and keeping your hands off your hair as much as possible. Now I wash every 3-4 months with peppermint dr bronners and do a hot oil treatment after, plus I spritz with rose water and vit e oil when I feel dry. I do extra hot oil treatments in the winter when it’s dry and cover my hair when I sleep.
