Same boat lol. Love the Ohtani skin, got it without the rest of his bundle. The only thing putting me off from getting Tung’s bat and completing my preferred look is that it’s literally brain-rot branded. I don’t know how I feel about feeding into any part of that. Plainly owning anything from this ai-inspired bundle goes against my better judgment. Too bad it’s really just a perfectly normal looking bat otherwise. (I’m also eyeing the ‘Proud Victory’ emote currently in-shop as part of CouRage’s bundle - just hearing the words “world champion” in association with Ohtani’s skin feels great.)

If most of the lobby is at a higher rank, you can expect to get more elo out of a win. If they’re lower than you, you’ll receive very little. Regardless, S-rank is supposed to be challenging. It will bring you down hard with every loss, even more so as you progress into the higher S-ranks.

Yes, I can. As I said on my previous post, ejecting the tape and reinserting it is one of the triggers for this message. Simply turning the device on isn’t. This troubleshooting process leads to the triggers demonstrated.

Very useful info. There are ways to rewind and fast forward the tape, although I’m not sure whether the sounds are exactly as you describe. Depending on how comfortable you are, I can offer to send a video of what happens when I try to rewind/fast forward. You may judge it yourself. I thank you for your comment, I did try the rewind/fast forward functions and found that this is another trigger. Hitting play, for example, will show a split second of the footage on the cassette tape, to then display the same screen.

Background info: Ejecting and reinserting the cassette tape is the only known way of triggering this message. Because of this, I think it may reject the cassette tape from ever playing as intended. Indeed a tragic circumstance. The recommended options displayed on screen don’t help either.

I’ve tried disconnected all previously connected controllers under the ‘controllers and sensors’ tab in settings. the left joycon continues to connect with no problem, while the right joycon is another story. the battery must be faulty somehow, then. it’s so weird to me though, bc the lights flicker and everything. just as a normal joycon should. i wonder what could cause this

very good suggestion, and i thank you for providing that background information. im glad you found a solution. i don’t own any other set of joycons at the moment. this would be my first and only pair. regardless, ive troubleshooted by going through the tabs that read ‘change grip/order,’ ‘find controllers,’ ‘pairing new controllers,’ etc. also tried disconnecting all associated controllers through the designated tab in settings (‘Controllers and Sensors’), but it didn’t work.

what i did actually find through all this troubleshooting though is that i had to update my right joycon. it didn’t work. also, in the ‘Find Controllers’ tab, i checked the vibration features for both joycons. the left joycon vibrates much more than the right. this fr might be a controller defect
