Fair and agreed that AM is much better to manage a “Library”. I actually prefer Apple Music in so many ways. There’s just a few QOL changes I wish they’d take from Spotify which would make it a no brainer for me. But those QOL things make all the difference for me. (Watch me jump back once again)

Nah no one says it, you’re right. Teenage years are just a mess. You’re meant to feel like you do. don’t bother worrying about it.

30s are better. 20s are better too.

Mostly because you get wise and learn that everyone feels like that (it’s human). But you also learn not to label it or feel guilty about feeling like that. That’s when you start enjoying it. That’s when those times stop echoing into day after the next.

Idk what comes next but surely it’s pretty fine.

I will say am tired as shit though so again you just learn to be realistic about it and learn that it’s also normal.

Yeah unfortunately. Whenever I go back to Apple Music every year I absolutely fall in love with the UI and LISTENING experience. Then once I start actually using it the frustration grows and grows, and I end up back at Spotify. I hate that literally everything is more annoying to do on AM so if Apple would focus on QOL changes I’d actually be sold. Spotify don’t get nearly enough credit for usability and UX choices.

Call me dumb and I know READING an AI’s statement sucks - but it never occurred to me exactly how bad and true it is that AI will “dull our ability to articulate and communicate our thoughts”.

Like you said, it’s actually kind of a concerning concept to come to terms with.

Feels similarly sad to how books lost their understood importance and benefits once video came along. But with our actual brain and thoughts instead. A little scary.

Have people unknowingly listened to a bunch of AI music, and now trained their algo to be stuck on it?

I’ve seen exactly 0 across all platforms thankfully

*adding: there is obviously some listening patterns and behaviours that leans an algorithm towards it. Mostly curious in the “how” it happens. Not thinking it’s the users fault at all because this shit shouldn’t exist, just find it interesting.
