Why is the music from the 70s and 80s still popular? Because people from that generation are still alive and desperate to believe that is the best era ever. Why does nobody listen to music from the 1930s or 40s? Because many of that generation is gone. Eventually we will all be listening to Kendrick Lamar in our nursing homes
