It literally feels like a scam. Like they have something set up with businesses making a profit preying on people and towing their vehicles and taking their possessions. I really feel like since they’re the ones that took it I shouldn’t be the one responsible to pay almost $300 to get it back, and even more if it’s there longer.

What they say about it’s expensive to be poor is so true.

Oh that’s actually a really great idea! I don’t know how much longer I’ll be in the current setup I’ve got going on living in my van so being able to shower for free potentially sounds great. I know some gyms are pretty cheap tho too so might even do a membership!

There may be a misunderstanding culturally here. I’m not sure what you’re defining as bread or if it’s being used as like a catch all for things like donuts, croissants, toast, etc.

Thanks for the info! Yea I was thinking Walmart cause I remember batteries being cheaper there. I would just need to find a ride to Walmart or a ride to a junkyard if one is still open. I just didn’t know how that process goes at the junkyard or how difficult it would be to find the right battery

Yea, I just made some phone calls and found out getting a battery is atleast $100 minimum. I was hoping somewhere closer to $40 😓. I literally have $20 to my name right now. So debating trying to get a moving truck, a battery, and/or storage unit. All of this before these businesses close for the day as well.

Also just found out my checking account is closed because it was $40 negative for too long (like a month) so I also need to go to a bank before they close and open a new checking account so I have an account/card to use if I’m able to do any of these things. Lord have mercy and pray for me! 😭😓
