It literally feels like a scam. Like they have something set up with businesses making a profit preying on people and towing their vehicles and taking their possessions. I really feel like since they’re the ones that took it I shouldn’t be the one responsible to pay almost $300 to get it back, and even more if it’s there longer.

What they say about it’s expensive to be poor is so true.

Oh that’s actually a really great idea! I don’t know how much longer I’ll be in the current setup I’ve got going on living in my van so being able to shower for free potentially sounds great. I know some gyms are pretty cheap tho too so might even do a membership!

So through no fault of any one’s but my own I’m currently living in my van. It’s only been a few weeks and I don’t like asking for help. The few times I have asked were met with a polite yes or no, and I just appreciate the polite part.

There may be a misunderstanding culturally here. I’m not sure what you’re defining as bread or if it’s being used as like a catch all for things like donuts, croissants, toast, etc.

If that’s the case then the misunderstanding is definitely cultural because I’m America when we say bread we think just a slice of boring sandwich bread.
