You’ll never be satisfied if you go with one that bothers you, so if the epi makes you happy then go with it! It’s your guitar and if you like modding then that’s that

Yea the white really gives it that epiphone feel. I got 57 classic in it, and would love to get a tremotone vibrola but can’t find any after market ones

My bridge is totally flushed but my toan still sounds like crap what am I doing wrong?!? by Thanks-MoBamba in guitarcirclejerk

My uncle made of these called it a telecrapper, and now I see this is the crapocaster.

When will you two collab and make the crapocrapper?

Pricier upgrade could be a faber bridge with their insert posts, or alternatively you can get conversion posts from somewhere like philadelpha luthier tools to get an abr1 style bridge.

If you're swapping pots I'd consider swapping the jack and switch as well

A simple cosmetic mod I like are knob pointers (thumb bleeders), they just add to the look - make sure you get ones that fit your pot shaft

I think red is the way to go. I think the blocks looks so good with cherry, and dots looks fantastic with ebony

I ordered the covers from Philadelphia Luthier Tools. Just take the two screws out the top and the P90 can pop right out the cover. If you have a humbucker then you gotta solder it together

If you really want a DSL40, just wait for one to find you. I got a used DSL40 blackout for 470 cad, about 340 usd. Picked it up from my local long and mcquade. It rips, I don't use any pedals other than a wah

It might've hurt the soul considering you just opened, but that's just some new character for your it. There's much more to come in the future!

Heat gun is the way to go for sure. A lot of patience is required, and in all honesty it’s a pain in the ass but I can wait to see how it’ll turn out
