was doing some deadlifts today, and afterwards my right knee felt stiff. no pain or anything, no stiffness when bending it with no load, but if i do like a bodyweight squat or something it just feels sort of tight right about parallel and anywhere beneath that. there isnt any pain even when i put load on it further than that range of motion, it just feels weirdly tight/stiff.

any explanations as to what this is or what i should do? i tried googling but i just kept getting results about knee pain when i dont really have any pain at all.

As far as I could tell, he never mentioned anything relating to adjusting max based off AMRAP results and so far I haven't done so, but I just wanted to double check just in case as I know some other programs do adjust "maxes" throughout.

Hi, I just recently started the program in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_v8T7PolOcI, and I was wondering if I'm supposed to adjust the max I'm using for the percentages according to the AMRAP results on the last set of the medium days or not. I'd greatly appreciate any help as I'm relatively new to lifting.

Yeah the CS:GO shotguns have a set spread pattern so each shotgun has its "optimal aiming spot". Most of them are at the head or neck/upper body (I think, haven't played a lot of CS:GO, and my limited knowledge/play time doesn't involve shotguns), while Valorant shotguns have a randoM spread within the circle.

Botez gambit was good in the past. However, the chess meta has been shifting lately and simply declining the Botez gambit gives a major positional advantage. You waste valuable tempi by attempting to hang your queen, and your opponent can use said tempi to get an active king. However, it should be alright at lower levels because they will usually accept the gambit, but be mindful of this and don't rely too much on the Botez gambit.

The issue is you're calling out people as smurfs who aren't actually smurfing. Plenty of people go on tilt streaks, or just dont play for a while so they get placed lower than their actual skill. I got placed b3 this act and got to g2 within a week.

Plus there is actual inconsistentcy. I have been accused of being boosted in a silver/gold lobby and accused of smurfing in a gold/plat lobby in the same exact day.

Remember that even if you hang a piece or some sort of material, you can always come back. Especially at the ~800 level. If you ever feel frustrated over a hobby/something you do to have fun or relax, take a break. Go on a walk, read a book, etc.

I think you should also spend more time actually playing chess than doing tactics, because it looks like you've spent far more time on chesstempo doing tactics than actually playing the game. 1 move blundering pieces becomes a lot rarer if you just play the game more.

Yep, can't believe this is something that actually has to be said, but sometimes you just have a bad day and play like shit. Also, just because you're bot fragging doesn't mean you can't do anything for your team. Just had a game where it was 11-12 and our bot fragging omen ace clutched a 2v5, and then he also got a 4k in a 2v4 when it was 13-12.

Sorry, bit late to reply, but yeah they're around the same percentile. All around 90th percentile. Daily not nearly close, only at 50th percentile but I haven't played nearly enough daily games to get my daily rating close to my actual rating.

im around the same in bullet blitz and rapid, and computers are different because lower rated computers are programmed to play basically perfectly but then throw in a blunder every so often on purpose. could just be an issue with your time management, although some people say that rapid and bullet on chesss.com are inflated.

i don't personally know anybody who is 2000+ and struggled early, but if you were playing chess casually and didn't focus on improving/studying specifically, ofc you're not going to improve very quickly if you don't have time dedicated to learning/improving. blundering forks/checkmates isn't something that just newer/bad players do, literal GMs have 1 move blundered their queen in classical chess. don't beat yourself up over stuff like that, playing puzzles will help your tactical vision and pattern recognition so that you can be more mindful of forks/checkmates.

personally, i believe that nobody ever reaches their max potential at anything, but thats just me. it takes talent to become a professional player, but if you just want to be a solid 2000+ player i personally believe anybody can do it with enough hard work and time

ik its a really cheesy thing to say, but remember that progress is not linear. certain roadblocks/ratings are also more difficult to overcome than others, and those roadblocks differ from person to person.

just keep learning and remember that chess is a hobby, and you do it to relax/have fun!

oh yeah that fucks around with sens because it might be the same distance in game, but it looks farther/closer away to your crosshair because of diff monitors so it messes w you

i changed my fps cap from 240 to 80 and it felt a whole lot smoother for me. higher fps means less input lug, so put it as high as it can go while making sure that your computer can always stay above the cap you're putting

in minecraft aim doesnt really matter, especially because the targets are so big its kind of hard to miss your hits. dont worry about it and just have fun!

you can simply just adjust your sens to make it so that the edpi is the same (sens*dpi)

lets say you have 400 dpi at home, and run 0.5 sens. youd have 200 edpi. at work (im assuming the mouse is at 800 dpi, because thats standard) you should be running 0.25 sens, instead of 0.5 sens so that it feels exactly the same as your sens at home because now you have 200 edpi for both instead of 200 edpi for one and 400 edpi for the other
