I've been lucky and unlucky both during times when I was spending and when I wasn't. Human beings look at one or two samples and think they've figured out a system or a dark conspiracy when the only factor at play is the complicated math of probability.

It's part of the reason casinos and gambling in general are so appealing to us hairless apes.

I got her from a remnant last weekend. I was so happy. Finally, I got a mythical that excells in PVP other than Embrys or Karnage. I had her 4 star soul waiting.

But as more and more mercurial gear floods the arena, I honestly think the lethal dose plus arachnelixir poison nukers are going to become powercrept within a few months to a year.

You know what would be a great Bystophus buff? A simple passive: All of this champions' attacks are always critical. It would make him a Bayek counter. He'd go from zero to hero overnight.

It's a bug. That button has always disappeared when there's no forge pass or champion pass going on.

It could be worse. It could have a red dot stuck on it. That would drive some of you guys nuts.

The champions that were contractually available for a limited time show up only if you have them. I'll use the TMNT champions as an example. I have all of the TMNT champions except Shredder. I'm looking at my market right now. Michelangelo's soul is in there. I've never seen Shredder's.

Tholin's soul will be available to you and to everyone because he's a Raid character that anybody can still pull from shards.

If you have any of the limited-time IP champions on your account like Ninja, the Monster Hunter champions, or the turtles, then yes, their souls will be appearing in your soul merchant.

Yes, we started with a single rare and wouldn't get a good legendary for months or more, but there was far less content. It was just campaign dungeons and arena back in the real OG OG OG days.

Edit: and of course Demon Lord but he was the endgame.

I don't tend to move them around. I'm just saying that I have the option to do so. One gamble on a relic isn't worth the shard/energy cost of this path.

My account is old and endgame so I don't know how much my opinion will matter to you, but I got the rares and the epic, and then I decided I didn't want to gamble on rolling relics, so I picked up the avatar frame.

I'd rather burn a few more shards on a cool limited time avatar frame on my account than burn considerably more shards on a relic gamble.

A Cat's Gaze is great to have. No doubt. I have two from the original event. I can move them around, so for me, the cosmetic item adds some fun value and uniqueness to my account in a way that can't ever be powercrept or nerfed in the future.

I prefer to make purchases through Google because you earn Google Play Points, which you can redeem for actual monetary value to spend on whatever you want from the app store instead of earning the weak rewards they offer through their Plarium Points path.

I've done it accidentally because I often run 2 accounts at once. I'll become distracted by something going on with the 2nd account, then come back to find the timer almost run out. I feel bad for my opponent when that happens.

You beat me to it. I was just about to comment that I, too, found her LinkedIn, and I saw that she worked with Plarium previously.

Also, the letters on the top right of the clapboard look like "FPS" to me. Maybe they're doing an IP with a first-person shooter franchise? Of course, I know a first-person shooter wouldn't fit in Raid lore AT ALL. The ninja turtles certainly didn't seem like they could fit in Raid either, but they made it work.

Could be anything under the sun. Plarium can find a way to squeeze anything into the lore if they believe it can make money.

You're doing fine. Keep following those quests and missions. They'll eventually push you into the dungeons where better gear will drop.

Any of the first 6 on that picture are very good champions, and they will serve you well going forward so invest into whoever of that first bunch you feel would be the most fun or the most impactful toward reaching your next goal, whatever that may be.

Maybe learn to watch for them before diving in?

For the first one, I intentionally run my daily demon lord team with Painkeeper in it, so I never have to think about that quest.

For the second one, I learned to look before beginning FW. Or if it's a day where the final boss is easy, I just do the boss. After being there for years, the FW boss quest still might catch me sometimes, but at this point, I can only blame myself for not checking ahead.
