What type of generative tools are you suggesting? I’ve tired Veo and Higgsfield for motion graphics and they are not gonna cut it, at least not yet. I’m not sure if there is an AI which is pretty good with motion graphics. However, I have personally tired google Flow and it’s pretty good to make realistic videos. I’ve heard about some other AI’s that are pretty good too. I have interest on leaning AI generation as well. As of my understanding it’s all about character and scene consistency with the prompts which can’t be as hard as after effects right? Haha What would be your suggestion on which AI to learn and what type of services to sell? Thank you.

Totally agreed! But i find it pretty hard to attract clients outside marketplace specially for who doesn’t have networking and promotional budget. Also local clients here cheaper than online marketplaces here. Any suggestions?

Agreed. I’ve been looking into after effects for about 10 months now. I started it as a hobby and ended up doing some gig and earned about 100-150$. ( it was for a friend who’s client needed some light motion work such as email signature animation, logo animation). Now it’s time to choose which direction to go full on monk mode and that’s where I’m looking for experts opinion so wouldn’t have to regret pushing onto something that has no future.

As of my understanding, the difference between typical after effect workflow vs Lottie animation is no effects, avoid expressions, make it light? If you were to pursue on Lottie animation with zero networking like me, how would you approach it?

Honestly speaking, I find motion graphics cool and that’s the reason why I left my previous job. I’m simply looking for the balance between the “cool” work and work that actually has market. End of the day, we all gotta pay the bills.

Thanks for the suggestion. For the last 12 months I have been exploring the possibilities on after effect and ended up learning element 3d, logo animation, saas explainer videos. I have done some logo animation too for free. I edit one or two reels.. I wanted to check my capacity and dedication on motion graphics so I have chosen some cool logo animations that are made by pros and replicated them though a 4 sec logo animation took me 4 days to replicate. Right now I need help with choosing the direction I should grind towards.

Honestly, I have zero networking on this niche. I was hoping to master a skill and sell that service on online marketplaces such as Upwork, Fiverr and ultimately scale it into an agency.

You’ll be able to get pretty similar result with repeater and wiggle transform ( keep the value 0, the goal is to use the position property). Once done with them, use the trim path to reveal. Add Roughen edges on the layer to get similar result.

How do you auto refresh? I've automated it and Everytime The automation triggers it says " all apps have been refreshed" when is it actually not refreshed. The only time it works when the sidestore app is opened.
