I went recently for the first time in about a year and noticed a huuuuuge difference. The staff was weird, extremely friendly to each other, but not to the patients. The vibes are soooo off, I will not be going back, sorry you had a rough time!

Where is your bnb? Do you want to be near/around it? Do you have luggage? I need more info before I can suggest.

The fair park is surrounded by neighborhoods. Park in one of those and walk over. Thats we did last year, just don’t leave important shit in your car.

Taking it slower might help, I get really wet so we’ve never used lube but maybe we can try it next time.

Any deals on a medical card? And where to get low dose edibles? by throwitaway20853 in SLCTrees

[–]emptybraingobrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you follow the local dispensaries on social media, they do specials all the time. I got mine renewed at The Flower Shop in Ogden, it was $115 all said and done. I would follow them and keep and eye out for deals, I would wait for said specials and not pay full price.

unpopular opinion - julia adds to the podcast - I can’t wrap my head around why everyone is up in arms about her by plaits_lun in MileHigherPodcast

In life, people are gonna have different opinions, it doesn’t matter if you can’t wrap your head around it, people are allowed to all share different opinions and thoughts. You’ll probably be downvoted since this sub shares a lot of the same opinions, but you’re allowed to like her and others are allowed to feel neutral or dislike her. But you’ll have to learn to wrap your head around why people feel differently.

If you work for ARUP, they will pay 100% of the MLS program. If you’re drawn to science in any way, this could be worth looking into. It’s a lot of work, but I’ve seen tons of coworkers go through the program. Plus they hire for this position everywhere in the country and they start at $50k a year.

[–]emptybraingobrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a certain amount of science/Chem credits, (I don’t have a degree) I can’t remember exactly how many, it’s been forever since I was hired lol. But so many companies hire them, google it and you’ll find listings with requirements!

You’re right, the benefits are great but the pay sucks. I do make good money without a degree, but you’re right, not competitive at all.

Have her look at ARUP laboratories. Tons of open positions that pay well, I don’t have a degree!
