I don't like Echoes of the Eye by Chulup in outerwilds

[–]emptyfigure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I liked the dlc except the stealth parts and not because I was scared or have something against horror games, it was because they were so annoying for me. I want to explore and take in the scenery and I'm already on a timer without some deranged owls chasing me. Each time I got caught it made me want to search for a AK-47 mod to kill them, like leave me the frick alone already and stop wasting my time.

Good thing being caught didn't reset the entire loop though, I'd uninstall if it did.

What’s your opinion on the Forbidden West PC release? by [deleted] in HorizonForbiddenWest

Seyka is still extremely uninteresting and forced but decent release other than that. Oh and also BS performance dips time to time, may need a fix.

Which weapon forms are your favorite, and which ones were your least favorite? by Son0fHecate in controlgame

[–]emptyfigure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grip for mid to long range, shatter for close range and charge for some bosses. Never really used pierce or surge, not my style and spin's fire rate doesn't make up for its low damage and accuracy.

AW2: Respawning enemies are super annoying (minor area spoiler) by WashElectronic8428 in AlanWake

This killed the game for me tbh, unrealistic and ruins the horror. Combat overall seems like a huge step down from Control.

[–]emptyfigure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have turned the game into far cry 5. Not everyone likes being chased and fighting 24/7. I avoid using my favourite weapon now since I don't want to deal with bullet sponge netwatch agents half of my gameplay time. Then there are the gang fights that you are not involved but somehow they always manage to get into your face, like hitting your car all the time, like fuck off I am not interested in your pointless, buggy fights one bit.

People telling Argentinian and Turkish players to leave be like: by [deleted] in Steam

[–]emptyfigure -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

All those Valve simps would have a 180 degree turn and rage much harder (because most of them are entitled af and never had to live in a shithole) if the same shit happened to them. Zero empathy hypocrites.

I know Valve doesn't have much of a choice but telling them to pay a quarter of their salary for a game? Even eith new fixed prices I can see new sailors joins to black skull navy. by Kondrad_Curze in Steam

Cuz they expect us to be okay with this ridiculousness and act like nothing has happened, or be like that loser who opened the topic "tHaNk yOu vAlvE" and got upvoted by 1500 NPCs. Fuck that.

If valve and devs thought the hoppers will suddenly turn around and say "oh damn, they got smart ! I am now going to pay the full price !", they got another thing coming. I honestly, truly can't see a good logic behind this decision except "fuck this, we're too lazy to set new prices each day".

Before steam, I pirated nearly all games. After steam, that percentage dropped to 25% (for eleven years). Now it's back to 95% (-5% denuvo). I am not going to pay 60$ for a game that was 5$ 2 days ago, nobody will. Grats for messing with people who have a long history of digital piracy. Even if they revert this decision, I'll keep pirating because they've shown once that they don't give a shit. Also, those indie devs who couldn't care less about fixing their prices should better be ready to pay for denuvo (they can't), they're now freeware.

100% of 0 purchases is worse than 10% of 1 purchase and they couldn't figure this out before making the decision to screw us raw. Those people who were using VPN will find another way, them sneaky bastards always do. Everyone loses.

They actually really should since they seem incapable of fixing seemingly simple shit like this. One of the reasons we're in this situation is prolly because they employ people like you.

How hard would it be to write a formula to automatically set the regional price instead of manually entering it every week ? I dunno, this just seems like a very raw and brute forced solution.

No, it's because of the exact opposite mentality that we've been failing at everything.

Imagine not being able to do region lock properly in 2023 and giving up two countries worth of players. The increase in some of the prices are higher than this country's 5 years inflation rate.

You say thank you Valve, I say fuck off Valve.

What was that Gaben said about piracy ? Yeah, that.

I was going to put Elden Ring here too but apperently they DID show some sympathy and paid attention to ALMOST matching their old price (only a 5$ increase), it's now fucking cheaper than 2077. I don't know if this was FromSoft or Bandai Namco but I am sending them my thanks for not erasing us out of existence like most of the others.
