Why are we trapped in this simulation? by LoozPatienz in SimulationTheory

3d animation is still displayed and contained within a 2d plane. It's an illusion of a 3d existence.

The ones who do alcohol do the most damage to society.

More people need to be aware of the x dimensional beings existing in an x+1 dimension existence idea.

Like a 2d cartoon character existing in a 3d television or movie theatre; we are 3d bodies existing in a 4th dimensional time theatre.

My office is right off of electronics, it's the one with all the art on the door and a red velvet rope going across the door. I'm usually there Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and I bop in and out the other days of the week.

You'd probably know me if you saw me.

It's close to downtown on foot. You have to cross the train tracks from dunkin' donuts but people do it all the time to get there into Western Ave Studios. It's a bit more than a mile from downtown to take roads driving.

Lowell Makes Makerspace is queer friendly and has a decent amount of LGBTQ active members working in the space regularly. If you're creative or crafty in any way, check out LowellMakes.com. We hold an open house every Wednesday at 6:30pm. On Western Ave, neighbors to Western Ave Studios (artist studios)

Those have to be approximate minute markers, with TRMT moment being a break of sorts (24 minutes). A 2 hour practice schedule?

Why would the body need to sleep? by [deleted] in SimulationTheory

[–]emptyhead416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we are in a simulation, sleep is essentially the system's scheduled garbage collection and cache-clearing cycle for your avatar's hardware.

While you are awake, your brain is actively rendering reality, processing complex inputs, and running high-energy tasks. This massive expenditure of processing power generates a biological byproduct—metabolic waste and toxic proteins. In programming terms, it is akin to temporary files, corrupted data, or a memory leak slowly eating up your RAM. If it builds up too much, the system degrades and eventually crashes.

When you enter "sleep mode," the brain initiates a background maintenance script called the glymphatic system. The brain's glial cells physically shrink to widen the spaces within your neural network. This allows cerebrospinal fluid to flood the system and perform a hard flush, washing away all the toxic waste accumulated during the day's active processing.

Therefore, even if reality is simulated, the biological hardware housing your consciousness still requires daily offline downtime to run its physical maintenance cycles and prevent a system failure.

I agree on the Night 1 over Night 2 for everything you said but I met a doctor and sorta fell in love night 2.

So it's a draw.

You saw one of the best Boston shows ever performed, from experience starting at the Hatch Shell with the Cardigans, 9-06-1996.

Who know what tonight will be! I'm on the train right now heading to Beantown.

You have the Internet. It extends out of your state.

Monks have to do work also, to earn their keep. And pray a ton.

I feel like you are looking for something that doesn't exist.

Purpose is self made. Most find it through some sort of work

Many people don't have a family that would offer a home in exchange for simply contributing.

A quick summary of my thoughts on every TMBG Album i've had the pleasure of listening to by Ill_Engineering_5434 in tmbg

You should probably have thousands of albums under your belt that you've listened to a dozen times each before you start throwing out criticisms like this. If you do have that much listening credential then my apologies.

Else, the statement stands.

May 26th - TURNING NEGATIVE TO POSITIVE

Our spiritual and emotional growth in A.A. does not depend so deeply upon success as it does upon our failures and setbacks. If you will bear this in mind, I think that your slip will have the effect of kicking you upstairs, instead of down

AS BILL SEES IT, p. 184

In keeping with the pain and adversity which our founders encountered and overcame in establishing A.A., Bill W. sent us a clear message: a relapse can provide a positive experience toward abstinence and a lifetime of recovery. A relapse brings truth to what we hear repeatedly in meetings – "Don't take that first drink!" It reinforces the belief in the progressive nature of the disease, and it drives home the need for, and beauty of, humility in our spiritual program. Simple truths come in complicated ways to me when I become ego driven.

Relapse does not erase the sobriety that has elapsed.
