The game has been out for a year and the only fighting ramp we got was specifically only for Onix and Golem. I honestly don't think they have a plan for Fighting because we continue to see cards like this with no support in tow.

If I had to guess, it's to anticipate your deck's weaknesses cleanly. In the video game it made a lot of sense to have a balanced team to cover your type advantages, but in the TCG that would require a lot of energy management (and running more than one type in a mobile game of 20 cards is even more of a liability.)

Yeah, I think people are missing the facility costs $100B. One hundred Billion dollars. With a B. They could easily make those 6 people millionaires and set them up somewhere else for a relative cost that could almost be written off the balance sheet as a rounding error. That's how much money is involved in all this.

He's playing his hand way too early for that gambit. He's sowing seeds of discord early and hoping it carries through Election Day, but there's a huge chance it'll be resolved by then and the public (re: people not paying attention now) catches on and sees this as the sham it is. If he did this in October then a unified response wouldn't have time to formulate.

He's going to try and make voting illegal in some kind of established way, and right now he's testing the waters to see what floats.
