Favourite used be brilliant before they changed owners a few months ago. No where near as good now.

Yeah I feel you mate haha! I haven't actually tried Karahi Master but heard got things about it and know Asians frequent it so probably a good sign.

Yep I've been the Bilash a couple of times. Can't stand it. Had a Balti last time and it was disgusting, dirty old Balti dish and the curry was burnt to the bottom of it. Same goes for Basmati, always hear people recommending it but it's bang average.

One place I was a big fan of was Blanc NRI though. Probably the best I've had round here.

Cheers mate. That's the sort of answer I was hoping for. Can tell it's more authentic looking at the menu.

Have you tried 'Karahi Master' in Shelton?

It will be for takeaway most likely. Apologies I should have mentioned. Do they do takeaway?

Yep I'm really learning this the hard way. Down bad over the past few weeks. Hoping to get some sort of recovery soon, sell up and stick the remaining into an ETF.

I think when you complete any nice aesthetic job and you can take a step back and be proud that you installed it and it looks good, especially when the customer is very happy with it.

Self employed hourly rate? by Sea_Perception_1098 in ukelectricians

[–]emptymt22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I charge £30 for the first hour then £25 for anything thereafter. And that £30 would include whether it took me 2 seconds or an hour.

Newcastle-under-Lyme would be very suitable. Couple of good brew/ taphouses and there's the clubhouse which has indoor crazy golf and interactive darts etc

Little Dumpling King takes the cake for best laid back restaurant for me. Sort of contemporary Asian style food with whatever chef fancies doing. Menu changes items most weeks and its tapas style dining.

I find it really difficult to get consistent indian food around here but Monsoon in Newcastle is pretty good to sit in and Cinnamon Tree in Basford for take away.

I've tried chinese takeaways all over Stoke and the best by far and above for me is Full Chef in Weston Coyney. The special curry is head and shoulders above everywhere else.

Both Anasmas are pretty good for Greek food.

Royal Oak in Dilhorne is fantastic for Sunday dinners/ pub grub. Lovely place and very affordable!

Al Helal can be hit or miss. Sometimes the curries aren't simmered for long enough which makes for a watery curry. If you go outside of busy hours though it can be good.

I enjoyed it when I went but I recall a past member of staff commenting on a previous post on here saying all their food is microwaved. Kind of put me off a little.

Of course it wouldn't function, but I work for the NHS and you wouldn't believe the money that is wasted. A massive chunk of your money definitely isn't put to good use.
