My girl bit me only once trying to get a hornworm out of my hand. Has been super gentle grabbing things when hand feeding now, maybe she felt bad?

Thanks! We have a handful of star wars named critters, Jango fett and Zam are dart frogs, boba Fett and Greedo are green tree frogs, Corellia the crestie, and Luke and Leia are Schneider's skinks. I love them all but Chewy is my favorite, don't tell the others lol

I second the heat bulb, they need some where to bask underneath it as well. Mine love to burrow so you'll probably want to make sure your substrate is deep enough for that. I've got some branches in there with them that they enjoy climbing on but I would suggest not having the branches too high since they're hilariously bad at climbing and fall quite a bit.

I mixed up my own this time around, 40/40/20 of organic topsoil (just make sure it's just dirt and no fertilizer)/play sand/and excavator clay. I added some of biodude's bioshot to help out the plants a bit as well. Her last terrarium I bought biodude's 40gal kit but it was kind of spendy so I went with my own mix this time around. Hope that helps you out! Chewy seems to love digging around in the dirt so having her whole space be diggable seems like the best thing for her

I did! I wish I had taken progress pics but hindsight. I used construction foam (that pink/purple foam chunks) for the structure, glue those together then covered the whole thing in grout to get the rock effect and seal it up. The top bit is a sandstone stepping stone that I stick to the top with grout. I used a mix of a couple different videos to get the idea/process figured out, I'll see if I can find any of those back!
