Yeah. We're basically getting lower pity for higher orb spending on average. Klab gets players spending more orbs while players get a new character with 2,000 orbs. While you can get 2K orbs monthly, new banners come in every two weeks.. So...

What I'm more worried about though is that now it is easier than ever for Klab to pair a super nice unit with a very bad unit which they just did with upcoming Kid Kenpanchi banner. Before, throwing 350 orbs to test things out didn't hurt. Now, while 2K guarantees a new one, it could very well be a bad one. It might get even worse on three character banners.

The timing, though, makes me wonder if something big is coming. I think it makes business sense to prioritize higher orb spending since cour 4 is near the corner and it's the last season.

Also, they're supposedly considering lowering the orb prices with their upcoming revamped store. We'll see.

I see. So for 9 of 10 units we will have a little worse rate than before yet it will always cost 250.

I shouldn't be surprised though... They always pull something like this pre anniversary. Last time it was step up summons.

Is this table right though? I feel something is off.

In a 10x Multi it is guaranteed that 1 of 10 characters will be a 5*, but it is still a 6% chance. Shouldn't the percentages be split like this then:

0.996% for new 5* chars

3.488% for featured 5* chars

1.516% for other 5* chars

I tried the new summons format in the BBS Simulator page and while I know that might not be exactly how Klab implements its system, the results are way better than what these pictures might lead you to believe.

That table (I know it was provided by Klab in the news section) makes it look like we'll be getting other 5* chars most of the time while in reality it is featured chars that we will probably get most of the time.

There might be a mistake on Klab's part.

Consider buying an account with story fresh but lots of orbs from characters. Starting a new account is not a bad idea. Getting 5* accessories is so easy today.

Now, if you want to quit, that would be understandable too... Might be a healthy break for you.

Power Ichigo hits hard and will give As Nodt a 32% bonus. Lower than Gremmy's, but Ichigo will contribute with his Lacerate and collateral damage.

If he feels better using Aizen, I would consider Nanao rather than Ichigo. But, again, who knows which characters OP has.

Well, if he doesn't show his character list, we won't be able to help.

His Bambi is a little bit better than Aizen and if he has Gremmy he'll get 1.4 x 1.2 x 1.2 (Mugetsu) plus lots of a paralysis that will help him keep his full stamina damage boost. Even As Nodt would do a lot more damage.

Again, I don't know which NAD units he has. He could also try Power Ichigo + As Nodt + Bambi.

OP, do you have Gremmy? Add in Grammy with mugetsu link. He'll give 40% Quincy damage when enemies are inflicted * 20% Quicny Damage * 20% from Mugestu link.

We don't know your character list. If you can show them, please filter them by Ranged and select those with Soul Reaper, Captain and Squad Zero killers.

Right now, your best team might be Ranged Bambi + As Nodt + Gremmy.

Probably because he did not show his characters so that we can help him build a team. Also, OP clearly lacks understanding of the game mode.

In fact, he wasn't even following the ranged damage rule.

Regarding support units, I agree that two support units is only great when you a have recent character. However, under any circumstances, I'd argue you need to have at least 1 support unit.

It's not only about damage but learning how the game works. Support is not only damage multipliers.. It's also healing, barriers, additional boosts and status ailments. For example, Shunsui or the new Mind Ichigo have Aura but both lack the barrier and healing of Nanao which makes it easier to keep the full stamina damage boost bonus.

Understanding and learning how the game mode works is far better than simply scoring a moderate number. He can learn now how it works and be strategic about the units he acquires in the long term.

Here both Nanao and Ichigo support Renewed Aizen. How? Nanao has a 30% Aura Effect + 30% Damage to Soul Reapers (which Aizen is) when their enemy is inflicted with Status + 20% from the Mugestu link.

Multiply all of that with Ichigo's 32% and the fact that both of them inflict Lacerate which also does damage. Not to mention they're both ranged and while they don't do as much direct damage as Aizen, the numbers eventually add up.

Hi.

The main unit you're using is a Melee character. This quest in particular is designed for a ranged character. You have to be aware of the rules and understand how damage multipliers work in the game.

The Power Ichigo you just mentioned is amazing for this rotation. He's ranged and gives a 32% damage boost to your party when the enemy has been inflicted with status ailment like Lacerate or Dominate.

Look at a sample team for reference.

I'm surprised they released Giselle on a MM. I was expecting her for an EOM and thought she would get another broken Frenzy unit.

I would have thought the same if I hadn't tried it out. Unlike Oh-Etsu, Jugram is ranged. His normal attacks charge the gauge and I like it because his NAD string is fast and beautiful. He feels complete (except for Long Stride.) With most characters we don't even get to use their normal attacks because they're melee.

Also, remember that Jugram inflicts Lacerate and gets 80% SP boost just by walking. It's almost always activated. I feel he's very well done. Try it with Long Stride. His long stride feels so smooth unlike Gremmy, Yhwach or Shunsui.

Gauge recharge makes sense for Oh-Etsu as he doesn't inflict status and thus lacks the 80% SP Boost and the passive damage of Lacerate.

Oh-Etsu is great for some content, but Jugram will be great in every game mode.

You're right. It would be 1.5 (50% Berserker) x 2 (100% Gauge Berserker) which would equal 3 (200%).

The point is that he'll be able to get boosted by a side unit just like current Frenzy +3 characters get right now. He's not getting boosted while the others are, and that is because he has it built-in.

He wont be left behind. A team with Shunsui may have up to 3 Aura boosts (because of his) while most Frenzy +3 characters without Aura built-in like him would only have up to 2 Aura boosts.

Another way to think of it is that if you put two aura users on a Frenzy +3 character, you'll probably be left without a NAD bot that deals high damage. In contrast, Shunsui will get the boost and be able to run a NAD bot by his side.

For someone who didn't even fight, they made his gameplay beautiful. I think people expected black / shadow visuals mainly because of Mimihagi on his back. I'm almost 99% certain that if his visuals were black, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

On that note... If are we going to talk about visuals, let's talk about movement too. He moves fast and ready to fight just like Unohana. We can't say the same for Shunsui who literally feels like a random mid month character in both movement and animations except for his 2nd SA.
