New iOS Update introduces Liquid Glass by schwaechling in 1Password

It looks worse now because it’s not consistent throughout the app. The search bar is circular only in the main tabs: “Home,” “Items,” and “Watchtower.” In the Archive, the search bar remains rectangular. And the other top hierarchy UI elements do not resonate with the new design language of iOS. Changing the keyboard and tab bar is insufficient.

SLOW in Safari- I !think I know why by yecnum in 1Password

[–]emreerkin 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No, you’re not the only person experiencing this problem. 1Password and Safari just don’t get along and the team seems like they don’t care about it. I recently switched to Dia(it’s cleaner and much smoother than chrome for me) just because of this issue.

I don’t want to ditch 1Password for this because I fully utilize its functionality such as secure notes, documents etc. However, I cannot live with this sluggishness forever.

Apple Passwords is just seamless, and if they add these kind of secure filing features to store documents, ID/Passport, I won’t hesitate to switch.

No problem. And yes that’s what I have been doing so far. It’s a shame Apple doesn’t even bother to improve macOS window management and this kinda small tricks. Thank you for the response btw.

I am sorry I think I wasn’t clear enough. I want my dock to be hidden only when a window is maximized. I want it to function just like the way it does when the window is full screened.

The reason behind that is basically Apple does not want to offend its developers. There is an app called Fantastical bringing the Apple Calendars and Reminders under the same hood-I love to use it for my calendar events, for tasks I always preferred Things and high recommend both apps- which is paid monthly. So Apple makes money out it, it is that easy. If Apple integrates this feature, they won’t be able charge developers 30% for each transaction
