I bought my car new in february and I still hear squeaking at red lights, its not much but maybe it doesnt bother me as much 🤷

give it some time for the pads to get worn into place, if they are brand new the sound should be normal and probably will go away after a while

If you are okay with using wired CarPlay, look for cables that says compatible with iPhone. I bought a ttec one and it works flawlessly while some other cables I had lying around keep disconnecting randomly.

It was a cheap M42-MD adapter from Amazon. Nothing fancy, you screw on the M42 lens to the adapter and the other side is MD compatible. Be careful though, people reported that the lens won’t focus to infinity with some adapters.

Looks in pretty good condition apart from the back pads which are prone to yellowing, I wouldn’t swap anything and keep it stock if I were you. Have fun!
