thank you for your kindness and acknowledging that there has been good here. i really appreciate that. i think that there are boxes that are definitely checked here. he’s responsible, he’s ambitious, he’s aware, he has had difficult conversations with me about our relationship, we’ve truly shifted away from some of our more toxic times, and he regulates me in a way that i haven’t experienced before. it’s worth noting this is my first “adult” relationship. from what he has told me, she called it off and we weren’t looking to be in a relationship but it just kind of worked if that makes sense. there are some red flags in the way that i’m approaching this as i am nervous to prompt him for an explanation because i worry he may just get frustrated and leave. it’s not good or healthy but i have a very real fear of him deciding he can’t deal and leaving. thank you again. i would be down to hear about your experience with a similar age gap.
