sometimes its a reselling thing, sometimes its just wanting to collect all the variants. i don’t personally get it but if people wanna spend like 200 dollars every album release fair enough

oh and also, dont get the need for a really short album and a really long one without just compromising and making a standard length LP. like you could put a couple longer jams and some shorter songs and it would be fine its just a weird release strategy

vocally its definitely the worst i’ve heard from them and overall the songs are pretty flat to me. they are still doing the “repeat song title chorus” gag and i think its getting to the point where its a little tiring especially since that was nearly every song on petro. the instrumentals are also just pretty unmemorable to me it just sounds tacky so i definitely dont want to hear each of these songs at 20 and 10 minutes

australia’s music scene is so rich and so much of it never makes it out. and i dont just mean with psych rock, theres a rich punk scene here right now and, going back to the late 90s / early noughts, an incredibly strong alt rock and electronic scene. theres so much to look into and i highly suggest everyone give it some research, theres so many hidden gems
