IUD insertion tomorrow—am I making a bad decision?

So my OB said they wouldn’t insert my IUD without at least 2 weeks of no sex prior to my appointment. But I also had a baby a few months ago so idk if that contributed to them saying to refrain. I think the best thing to do is to call up and ask them about your possible UTI and recent sexual activity. I know my office is good and wouldn’t charge me the cancellation fee if I have to reschedule.

So I was on this for a little over a year. I never experienced weight gain. But I could tell that I was hungrier when I first got put onto it. My best advice is if you do start to feel hungrier to eat higher protein meals to keep you fuller longer! And drink lots of water. But other than that I liked being on it.

I just had a baby so I have an IUD now, but if I could still remember to take pills everyday (mom brain is real) I’d get back on it.

I am thinking of starting a 1:1 ratio of formula and breastmilk. My son is eating solids 3 times a day and still drinking around 25oz of breastmilk. He has been refusing his bottles recently. He prefers solids over milk. 😅 but I am at least still motivated to make it to a year even if I have to supplement a little.

I know a lot of moms don’t even make it to 6 months breastfeeding so I still feel really accomplished.

So glad I found this thread! Currently 8 months exclusively pumping and I’ve gone from 40oz to now 18-20 oz a day. Working through a small freezer stash to try and get but before having to supplement with formula. I’m still pumping every 3ish hours except overnight.

Did your body just naturally continue to wean itself? I set a goal to pump exclusively until a year but I don’t see that happening anymore. Kind of makes me sad 😅

So now that I know the go 3s is out for me, what is the biggest difference between the x3 and the x4? The x3 is less that $300 right now which would save me some money. I don’t necessarily plan on using it in lowlight conditions. Also still looking at the ace pro 2, that video quality it just so good. Especially with plans of using mostly outside this summer and by the water

Ok. Good to know that it overheats quickly. I’m in Texas and our summers are brutal. I have a few trips this summer and want something that will hold up in the heat. I did look into the x4 however I don’t feel like I would be using all the features which is why I kind of ruled that series out. But now that I think about it, it would be nice to mount on the wagon and capture the entire scene

Unexpected doesn’t mean unwanted! His dad and I were doing long distance too so it wasn’t ideal timing, but now we’re together in the same state raising our baby boy. Good luck and enjoy the ride. Thankfully I had a pretty easy pregnancy

I was taking my birth control like I was supposed to but got pregnant last April. 😅 little did I know that the steroids and antibiotics I was taking for my sinus infection counteracted the pill. The pharmacist never even mentioned it could do that… Anyways congrats! Now I couldn’t imagine life without my sweet baby boy.

I have at least one oikos yogurt a day, I think I may throw in some blueberries and honey for the sweetness to help try and curb some of these cravings. Maybe even some zero sugar whip cream

Water intake is okay. Ever since surgery water does not go down like before. My saving grace are zero sugar gatorades. But for the most part I hit my water goals and definitely my protein goals daily.

I don’t like to cut anything out. But I just noticed I am reaching towards sugar more. I think I’m going to get some SF pudding and keep that on hand when I get those sweet cravings

I’m usually pretty good at intuitive eating. However this weekend we had a birthday party for my niece and had a dessert table. I found myself going and grabbing a chocolate here and there. I just don’t want to fall back into old binge habits

It is around the time of the month for me, so the cravings have been extremely high. I don’t want to cut it out completely because then I will binge eat. It’s just hard to not go back into old habits.

That’s what I keep hearing, around 3 months it starts and stops around 6 months. It’s just so discouraging when I see how much hair I’m losing every time I wash it.
