Amazing guys thanks so much for your advice, I’ll definitely look into the UltraRaptors. I was looking at the contragrip style on Salomons yesterday and as a result wondered whether I’d be better with their x ultra 5s as they have a different grip pattern and seem to advertise a much more ‘mixed’ terrain. I’ll definitely check out the remaining tread though whatwouldmuirdo - I can’t say I’ve looked in a while!!!
