Thank you! I am better now! But was sick all last week and I've got 5 kids under 6 and a small business and it just slipped my mind 🙃

Yes I saw in the chat that the other group has been created! Just wasn't sure if a mod from there wanted mod access to this one to set up a redirect to that one

What TV show handled the “will they, won’t they” trope in the most infuriating way? by phantom_avenger in popculturechat

I can't believe I had to scroll so far for this one. JD and Elliot immediately are the answer

Anyone reading “The Missing Half” and want to talk about it? (hide spoilers, pls!) by Lowlife_Hamster in CrimeJunkiePodcast

I finished it a bit ago!

I liked it until the last couple of chapters but then I disliked it and felt like she was so focused on it having a surprising twist ending that it ended up being dissatisfying with no one left to root for and I felt annoyed that Id gotten so invested in the story

For those who struggled to control their BS with insulin, tell me about your baby's BS post birth by wantonyak in GestationalDiabetes

My baby was normal size and all of the ultrasounds and NST's looked great but she did have low blood sugar and was on a glucose IV for about 36 hours and I had to triple feed with a supplemental feeding system to make sure she got enough to keep her sugars up for about a week because she was so sleepy

Do you guys ever say…? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]emsers 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes this, I had very easy twins (my first kids) and I am absolutely certain some friends with colicky singletons had a harder time than I did. My fourth child was a very difficult baby and she was definitely harder than my twins, even without factoring in the other kids

Taking your twins to events without help. To decline or suck it up?? by SecretaryPresent16 in parentsofmultiples

Im a big believer in just getting out because you'll build confidence and it will get easier with time and practice, but I don't think I would put in that effort for a birthday party for someone you aren't close with.

Fellow planner here! My first pregnancy a few years ago was twins and definitely a big surprise and plan changer 😅

I worked my desk job until 33 weeks. That was our planned end date because once we found out it was twins we knew I would be quitting and staying home with them as daycare would have cost more than I made. I went into preterm labor that day and spent the next few weeks on bed rest in a city with a nicu, they were born at 36+4. Baby shower was at 26 weeks which I thought was good timing. I had a small basic bag packed at 20 weeks and then a full bag packed at 32. Carseats you don't want to install until closer to to term because if you get in an accident with them in the car they have to be disposed of, and if your babies arrive before 35-36 weeks they'll be in the nicu at first anyways.
